Hi to all Matadors. Tom is to lazy(He's always at thr river)to do his own, so this message is from both of us. We both teach at Rancho Alamitos, so actually we consider ourselves "Vaqueros" now because that's where we eat lunch everyday and get paid. Ton teaches Health and Drivers Education, and I teach Geometry and Trigonometry. Tom has a Sea Doo boat and I have two Sea Doos so we're always somewhere on the water. Anybody want to join us? Well, we did it! Our reunion was last weekend and I'm happy to say that it was a success. (Anyone think otherwise?) Friday we met at National Sports Bar on Main & MacArthur for drinks, food and to shoot pool. They love Bolsa there, so if you're planning a party, think of them. Saturday was our big night at the Hilton Irvine and, while The Reunion Company aka Reunion Management Group, was a big let down (DON'T USE THEM!), everything looked nice and started on time. Our DJ, Henry Martinez of Sound Appeal was GREAT and kept the dance floor packed all night long. If you would like to use him, his number is 714-771-4077. I highly recommend him. The food, provided by the Hilton, was very good and the catering manager and staff were wonderful. Finally, Sunday we had brunch at El Torito on MacArthur and again, they were great. We had a private room, plenty of balloons for the kids and they gave us discounted brunch prices. Thanks to the committee, Travin Lui,

To Debbie (Brooks) Tevis: I have heard of all of them except ReunionMasters. I was at the Doubletree Club Hotel near South Coast Plaza this weekend and saw a reunion put on by Great Reunions. It looked decent, and the staff was there and set up on time. I was impressed by Reunions with Class and their quick response time and follow up calls, but we had already signed on with The Reunion Company by then, so we couldn't use them. Of course, I don't know if the attention would continue after the contract is signed. I think its important to let the reunion coordinator know up front that we have smaller class sizes and that it will take significant effort on THEIR part to get the message out and find classmates. I though that's what part of our money pays for, but I've learned otherwise with The Reunion Company. Make that very clear, perhaps even sacrifice something else if they will spend extra time and money finding people. Good Luck!!!

from Orange County in 1980 to San Luis Obisip, now
I'm living in Chico, CA (North of Sacramento). Working
in Operations at CSU, Chico in the Office of Academic Affairs.

older brother Terry.
I think you are doing a great job on the website! Keep
on developing it! I would love to see photos (students
